Storage instructions
Many problems and surprises can be avoided by the proper storage of mouldings and panels. Timber can be stored outdoors.A suitable storage location is a level surface with a maximum distance of 1.5 meters between supports. Timber stored outdoors must be protected against rain, sunshine and ground moisture. Cover the material loosely to facilitate air circulation and prevent any build-up of moisture condensation under the cover.
Interior panels, mouldings and floorboards are often delivered ready dried and they must remain in the same condition throughout the entire construction period. Such materials are best kept in a warm, well-ventilated location. Mouldings and panels manufactured using MDF materials should be stored in dry indoor spaces.
