Care and cleaning of painted, varnished and coated surfaces

• Wipe lightly with a damp, lint-free cotton cloth.
• You can use mild detergent solutions.
• Strong detergent solutions may damage the surface of the product.

Care and cleaning of surfaces with a sauna finish

• You can use tools and mild detergent solutions intended for cleaning the sauna.
• Strong detergent solutions may damage the surface of the product.

Repainting and repair instructions for surface-treated products

Clean and sand the surfaces thoroughly.

• Clean the surfaces of dirt and dust. If needed, wash using the Tikkurila Maalipesu cleaning agent.
• Lightly sand the surfaces and remove any sanding dust.

Repainting of surfaces

• Repaint the surfaces 1–2 times with a water-based, semi-matt paint (NCS-S0502Y), e.g. Tikkurila Helmi furniture paint.

Note! Do not repaint coated surfaces.

Reapplying the surface treatment to sauna-finished products

• Clean the surfaces of dirt and dust. If needed, wash using the Tikkurila Maalipesu cleaning agent.
• Lightly sand the surfaces and remove any sanding dust.
• Sauna-finished products can be retreated with equivalent water-based products.
